«ALZYME Bst» DNA polymerase
«ALZYME Bst» DNA polymerase is designed for isothermal synthesis of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) molecule by complementary copying of DNA strand. The enzyme is intended for research purposes.
Source: The enzyme is derived from a recombinant E.coli strain carrying a modified Bst polymerase gene.

«ALZYME Bst B» reaction buffer (c.n. ZBB-096-0.65ML) | 650 µl x 1 vial |
«ALZYME Bst» DNA polymerase is an enzyme, a large fragment of Bst polymerase with increased thermostability (remains active at temperatures up to 71 °C, optimum operating temperature 65 °C), catalyzing DNA synthesis, having 5’→3′ polymerase activity, but lacking 5’→3′ and 3’→5′ exonuclease activity. The enzyme has strand displacement activity, making it suitable for use in an isothermal amplification reaction. ALZYME Bst concentration is 8 units/μl.
Application field:
- Classical Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP).
- Real-time LAMP with probes or intercalating dyes.
- ZB-096-1.6KU
