«ALzyme-Pfu» DNA polymerase
«ALzyme-Pfu» DNA polymerase is designed to synthesize a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) molecule by complementary copying of DNA template strands during polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and can be used in the following procedures:
- High-precision PCR.
- Gene cloning.
- DNA synthesis for sequencing.
- Amplification of complex (GC-rich) sequences.
- Long-range PCR.
DNA polymerase «ALzyme-Pfu» is an analogue of Phusion High-Fidelity polymerase.
: The enzyme is derived from a recombinant E. coli strain carrying a modified Pfu polymerase gene.

«ALzyme-Pfu» DNA polymerase is a thermostable chimeric enzyme that catalyzes DNA synthesis with 3’→5′ corrective activity and lacks 5’→3′ exonuclease activity. ALzyme-Pfu carries a DNA affinity domain, which makes the enzyme highly processive and resistant to certain inhibitors.
The concentration of ALzyme-Pfu is 2 activity u/µl.
The enzyme is designed to perform amplification of DNA fragments up to 20,000 bp in length.
ALzyme-Pfu-B reaction buffer provides optimal conditions for the operation of ALzyme-Pfu DNA polymerase and guarantees increased precision and processivity in the work of this polymerase.
