«ALSENSE Phytoplasma pyri RT-PCR» reagent kit

«AL­SENSE Phyto­plasma pyri RT-PCR» re­agent kit for the de­tec­tion of Phyto­plasma pyri by RT-PCR is based on a real-time poly­merase chain re­ac­tion (RT-PCR) with hy­brid­iz­a­tion-fluor­es­cence de­tec­tion on a DNA mat­rix. The PCR method is based on the mul­tiple doub­ling of a spe­cif­ic DNA re­gion with DNA poly­merase un­der ar­ti­fi­ci­al condi­tions (in vitro). The amp­li­fic­a­tion tar­get is the 16S ri­bo­somal RNA gene re­gion of phyto­plas­mas of the 16SrX group. An in­tern­al con­trol (ICS) was de­signed based on the 18S pear ri­bo­somal RNA gene se­quences.

The Taq­Man probe to the Can­did­atus Phyto­plasma pyri gen­ome re­gion car­ries a FAM dye tag at the 5′-end. The ICS-spe­cif­ic probe is labeled with the HEX fluoro­phore, al­low­ing the user to val­id­ate the DNA ex­trac­tion step from plants.
