Description
PURPOSE
«ALPREP Ampli Magnetic» Purification kit is designed for DNA purification from PCR, ligation or restriction reactions using magnetic sorbent particles. Purified DNA is suitable for subsequent use in PCR, qPCR, restriction, ligation, sample preparation for Sanger and NGS sequencing, as well as in other applications of genetic engineering.
ASSAY PRINCIPLE
The principle of reagent kit involves the reversible binding of nucleic acid molecules to the surface of magnetic sorbent particles after treating the sample with the kit’s components.
The DNA purification protocol includes:
- Processing the sample with buffer solutions and magnetic sorbent;
- Separation of magnetic particles with adsorbed DNA on a magnetic stand;
- Washing of the bound DNA;
- Elution and subsequent separation of the purified DNA from the magnetic sorbent.
