Description
PURPOSE
«ALPREP Plasma-M» Reagent kit is designed for DNA/RNA isolation from blood plasma samples by magnetic sorption method using automated extraction systems. Reagent kit allows to extract free-circulating nucleic acids in blood plasma. Extracted nucleic acids can be used for PCR and other molecular biological studies. The kit is recommended for non-invasive methods of analysis in clinical laboratory diagnostics or for research purposes. The kit is available in configurations for manual or automated extraction. It is adapted for use with automated stations such as Auto-Pure, KingFisher, INOPurauto-96, and Freedom Evo.
ASSAY PRINCIPLE
Assay principle of the reagent set is based on the technology of selective sorption of nucleic acids from pre-lysed cells on the surface of magnetic sorbent particles, followed by washing and elution steps. This procedure results in a highly purified nucleic acid preparation free of inhibitors.
