Description

PURPOSE

«ALPREP AlMag» Magnetic Racks are designed for precipitation of magnetic sorbent particles during the extraction of nucleic acids and proteins from various biological materials, as well as for magnetic cell separation. They are available in two versions:

Mini: For PCR tubes 0.1-0.2 ml, both in strips and individually;
Standard: For microtubes 1.5 – 2 ml.

ASSAY PRINCIPLE

The operating principle of the «ALPREP AlMag» Magnetic Racks is based on the ability of magnetic sorbent under the influence of the magnetic field of a neodymium magnet to concentrate in its area, thereby depositing the magnetic sorbent in a local area of the side wall of the test tube.
