Description
PURPOSE
«ALPREP-5» Extraction kit is designed for DNA and RNA extraction from biological material at the stage of clinical sample preparation for subsequent analysis by PCR and/or RT-PCR.
ASSAY PRINCIPLE
Assay principle is based on a reversible binding of nucleic acids to the surface of magnetic sorbent particles. The sample is treated with lysis buffer in the presence of magnetic sorbent particles. Dissolved RNA/DNA binds to the sorbent particles, while other components of the lysed biological material remain in solution and are removed by precipitation of the sorbent on a magnetic rack with subsequent sorbent washes. DNA elutes from the surface of the sorbent by adding an elution buffer, which is then separated from the particles of the sorbent particles by magnetic force. As a result, a highly purified nucleic acids are obtained, which provides high analytical sensitivity of PCR research.

ADVANTAGES

- Purity of isolation by A260/A280 ratio is not less than 1.7 from biological samples;
- Efficiency of DNA/RNA extraction is from 30 to 70%;
- Total time of DNA/RNA extraction from one sample is 40 minutes;
