Description

PURPOSE

«ALZYME RT» Reverse Transcriptase is used for the following applications:

synthesis of first strand cDNA for PCR and real-time PCR;
cDNA synthesis for subsequent cloning;
creation of cDNA libraries;
cDNA labeling.

CHARACTERISTICS

«ALZYME RT» Reverse Transcriptase allows synthesis of cDNA fragments up to 12,000 bp. Optimal operating temperature: 48-50 ℃. It retains activity in the range of 42 ℃ ‒ 55 ℃, which allows the synthesis of cDNA on RNA matrices with complex secondary structure. Conditions for inactivation: 80 ℃ (10 minutes). Incubation time depends on the matrix and varies from 10 seconds to 60 minutes.
The enzyme is an alternative to MMLV revertase with several advantages: it has improved thermostability, processivity and accuracy.

«ALZYME RT» Reverse Transcriptase is suitable for one-tube PCR using ALZYME Taq. ALZYME RT B Buffer provides optimal conditions for ALZYME RT Reverse Transcriptase. The enzyme concentration is 200 units/μL.
