Description

PURPOSE

«ALZYME Blue Mix», «ALZYME Orange Mix», «ALZYME Green Mix», «ALZYME Red Mix» are 2X mixes of ALZYME Elaine HSTaq DNA polymerase, various dyes, dNTPs and all components required for PCR except DNA matrix and primers. The dyes in the mixture do not inhibit DNA polymerase, facilitate sample application and allow monitoring of DNA migration during electrophoresis. Using these products significantly reduces reaction preparation time and the potential for error. Using «ALZYME Blue Mix», «ALZYME Orange Mix», «ALZYME Green Mix», «ALZYME Red Mix» products with uracil-DNA glycosylase reduces the likelihood of contamination with PCR products.

Applications:

routine PCR;
amplification of DNA fragments for TA cloning;
DNA labeling;
direct amplification of DNA from whole blood and plasma.

The «Hot Start» technology ensures that the enzyme is not active under the mixing conditions of the PCR mixture and is activated after the initial denaturation step.
