Buffer solution «ALCHEM TG» is used as an electrode buffer during native polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis for separation of proteins based on their molecular weight and charge.
- Tris provides buffering capacity for maintaining constant pH of solution;
- Glycine is an ionic carrier in the electrophoretic system, facilitating the movement of charged molecules through the gel by applying an electric field;
- The buffer solution is provided as a 10x concentrate. It must be diluted with deionized water before use.
