Description
PURPOSE
«ALMUNO Antibiotic Bacitracin» Kit is intended for quantitative determination of bacitracin and zincbacitracin by ELISA in following matrices:
- milk (raw, pasteurized, sterilized) and reconstituted milk powder;
- meat (beef, pork, lamb, horse meat, poultry), meat products, infant food on base of meat and fish;
- meat by-products (including poultry by-products), animal fats (including lard and bacon);
- eggs, dried and liquid egg products, egg processing products;
- aquaculture products (fish, shrimps, caviar);
- fish culinary products, cooked-frozen fish products, canned and preserved fish products;
- feed (mixed feed, meat and bone meal);
- honey.
PRINCIPLE OF METHOD
The principle of «ALMUNO Antibiotic Bacitracin» method is based on a competitive colorimetric enzyme-linked immunoassay. During analysis bacitracin from the sample competes with bacitracin-horseradish peroxidase conjugate for binding to antibodies (anti-bacitracin) in wells of the plate. The concentration of bacitracin in the sample is determined from a calibration curve constructed by 6 calibration solutions.
