Description
PURPOSE
«ALMUNO Mycotoxin Zearalenone» Kit is intended for quantitative determination of mycotoxin zearalenone by ELISA in the following matrices:
- cereals (wheat, rye, oats, triticale, barley, millet, malt, buckwheat, rice, maize, etc.);
- leguminous crops (peas, beans, lentils, chickpeas, etc.);
- oilseeds (soya, rapeseed, sunflower, flax);
- products of grain and leguminous crops processing (flour, flour and bakery products, cereals, etc.);
- products of the oil and fat industry (cake, meal);
- animal feed on grain and legume basis.
PRINCIPLE OF METHOD
The principle of «ALMUNO Mycotoxin Zearalenone» Kit is based on a competitive colorimetric enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. During analysis zearalenone from the sample competes with zearalenone-horseradish peroxidase conjugate for binding to antibodies (anti-zearalenone) attached on the plate. Concentration of zearalenone in the sample is determined from a calibration curve constructed with 5 calibration solutions.
