Description
PURPOSE
«ALMUNO Mycotoxin DON» Kit is intended for quantitative determination of mycotoxin DON by ELISA in the following matrices:
- cereals (wheat, rye, oats, triticale, barley, millet, malt, buckwheat, rice, maize, etc.);
- leguminous crops (peas, beans, lentils, chickpeas, etc.);
- oilseeds (soya, rapeseed, sunflower, flax);
- products of grain and leguminous crops processing (flour, flour and bakery products, cereals, etc.);
- products of the oil and fat industry (cake, meal);
- animal feed on grain and legume basis.
PRINCIPLE OF METHOD
The principle of «ALMUNO Mycotoxin DON» is based on a competitive colorimetric enzyme-linked immunoassay. During the analysis deoxynivalenol from the sample competes with the DON-horseradish peroxidase conjugate for binding to antibodies (anti-DON) attached in the well. Concentration of deoxynivalenol in the sample is determined from a calibration curve constructed with 5 calibration solutions.
